Why should I bother?
With the new workplace legislation it is imperative that you be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe work environment.
I don’t employ anyone?
Even if you do not have any employees, you must still comply with the legislation if you have a business partnership or other company structure involving family members and visitors.
What if I use contractors?
You are required to sight and record the details of the contractors own OH & S Manual or Code of Practice at a minimum.
Why should I prepare written documentation?
Without written documentation it will be very difficult to provide evidence of compliance with the new legislation.
Can I draft my own manual?
Yes you can, and every farming enterprise will have differing situations. However to provide a complete manual we believe our product will save you time, effort and hassles.
Is this information available free elsewhere?
Much of the information required is available from government agencies and on the internet. Again however much of this material is of a very general nature and not specific to agriculture.
